Swiss BrAIn Health
Augmented Intelligence for Personalized Brain Health in Switzerland
A national initiative for AI-powered brain health in Switzerland.
Dementia affects over 156,000 people and costs CHF 12.6 billion annually. Up to 45% of cases may be preventable.
The project develops an AI-based system for early risk detection and personalized prevention—combining clinical expertise with real-world lifestyle data.
What this platform enables
Swiss BrAIn Health enables a comprehensive approach to brain health prevention:
- Early identification of individual dementia risk profiles
- Continuous monitoring using digital tools and real-world data
- Personalized interventions to reduce modifiable risk factors
The need for prevention
Without intervention, dementia cases in Switzerland could double or triple by 2050—placing increasing pressure on healthcare systems.
Today, care remains largely reactive rather than preventive.
Swiss BrAIn Health shifts this paradigm toward proactive, scalable, and personalized brain health management.
